Gabee Coffee, founded in 2004 by Van Lin, is one of Taipei’s early specialty coffee names and is closely associated with the city’s espresso-led café culture.[2][1] The team includes CQI-certified coffee quality graders, which points to a quality-control-driven approach rather than a purely retail one.[2] It is also known for competing in Taiwan’s coffee contests, consulting for other brands, and helping shape the specialty coffee scene from its base in Songshan District.[2]
