Mahalo Coffee Roasters was established in 2019 by NASCAR driver Trevor Bayne and is based in Knoxville, Tennessee, where it set out to “bring the west coast east” with a surf-inspired roastery.[3] The company focuses on roasting and serving top-grade specialty coffee, with a straightforward emphasis on quality and craft rather than heavy branding.[6] Its signature identity comes from that origin story: a West Coast-inflected approach rooted in Bayne’s hometown and built around specialty coffee as the central product.[3][6]
