Pisgah Coffee Roasters, based in Brevard, North Carolina in the Blue Ridge Mountains, sources 100% Arabica beans exclusively from the Cerrado region of Brazil. Founded in 2004 by Jotham Lipsi, the roaster maintains direct relationships with Brazilian farmers, imports beans in-house, and roasts small-batch to order using slow roasting methods. The company emphasizes low-acid, high-consistency specialty coffee with cupping scores of 82 and above, and operates both a retail coffee shop and wholesale program.
