This Week in Coffee

Square Mile, Jack Simpson, and a Yirgacheffe V60

May 31, 2026

This week leans toward precision and origin. We spotlight London's Square Mile, founded in 2008 by Anette Moldvaer and James Hoffmann on transparency over theatrics, and pair it with a Wendelboe-style Yirgacheffe brewed on the V60. We also tip our hat to Jack Simpson, the 2025 World Barista Champion from Australia, and add four new Atlas guides — South Korea, Switzerland, Greece, and Ireland. Brew something thoughtful.
