Bourbon

A natural mutation of Typica that emerged on Île Bourbon (now Réunion). More productive than Typica (30–40% higher yield), Bourbon is the parent of many modern varieties including Caturra, Catuai, and Mundo Novo. Found across Africa, Latin America, and beyond. Distinct color mutations: Red, Yellow, Pink, and Orange Bourbon.
